dog training job opportunities

A job in grooming? ?
Hi, I'm 17 years old from Western Australia and looking for a career with animals (suggestions) Unfortunately, I do not have tee, but get good grades. I'm having trouble finding something to study. I thought, care of animals, but was not sure about the opportunities they give me can. An area that is interested, I recently in the dog salon. I did some research but found it hard information I need. I wonder where I get training want and off the job, negatives and positives on dog care, if there are many jobs available there, and everything you add. I have some trouble to know exactly what answers do! Thank you for the fast, yes, I've always wanted to be invovled with the animals or the environment because I knew what they were! A job helps either would be a dream.
I used to work in a grooming place. I did not do the actual grooming part but I was a dog bather / Dryer. I think the only thing I noticed when the work there but is the kind of dogs that you would in nursing understand that. They all have different types of Coats, have a few thin layers some have thick coats … even the texture of the skin is different and each breed has a breed standard clip. Not every dog you encounter in the dog care business is easy to maintain. Dogs have different temperaments and personalities, some are shy and other hyper and really a pain to maintain in the Tush is. I really think you would need a lot of patience thrive in this profession. Plus, unfortunately, some owners do not care properly for their dogs and bring only their (poodle), for example in the groomed slopes on each like 5 months … the poodle is in the shop all matted, come with fleas / ticks, filthy, with nails overgrown, and I can not see out of the hair in his eyes: (The work is very emotionally and especially if you encounter abused dogs. But if your heart is in it, then will the satisfaction they get to see her go home happy:) and you will know that the most important factor in their happiness. Do not forget that you must not only deal with the dogs, but would also be with the dog owners and their unique temperament and: p Some of the professionals on this job with the hands so many breeds of dogs as you can imagine … There are endless amount of races and with the experience and training, you begin to create your own unique style and strategies and will learn that you will be a successful Dog Groomer. Another thing that may be useful on some education in entrepreneurship, which you in the future To help you get your own grooming parlor open:) Pets are really more "family" on the people and I believe that love is greater to their animals and gets bigger every generation, so I think their will be enough jobs done that to her. Have some college looks about dog care and To see whether there may be a specialty that focuses on dog care and college go to be from there. Hope this helps! G'luck! Ps: Another thing you need to know about industry that is very repetitive and injury may occur if you are not careful. During my time working on the slopes I ended up hurting my hand from the repetitive use of the dog hair dryer = /, and was by a dog about a week later I get something from this business. So if There have many positive things, determine whether the positive will outweigh the negative aspects of the end of this work continues.

Giving Your Puppy the Attention He Deserves
The moment you walk into your home with a puppy in your arms, there is certainly room for celebration. However, some people seem to forget animals are living beings, which need care and attention for a lot longer than the day he arrives. They can represent a lot of fun and games, as long as they are given the proper care and attention they require. Before going into details regarding the proper care and attention for puppies, we would like to point out to our interested readers that this is not just fun and games. Please do your homework before jumping to the decision of buying a puppy solely based on the fact that they are cute, or because you need a guard dog on your vacation home. Ponder the facts, and analyze whether or not you actually have the room for a dog in your home. Figure out who will take care of him, feed him and bathe him.
The needs of your puppy regarding the kind of care and attention he requires will depend on the breed, and his surroundings. Some breeds of dog, for example the German Sheppard, are natural guard dogs, and will tend to be more defensive against strangers around the home. Other breeds like the Chihuahua are more comfortable in small places. Their size and bone structure are not really designed to run around fields or defending a home. If you live in an apartment this could be the breed for you. A Great Dane, on the other hand will most definitely need open spaces, or he will develop joint problems and lack of enthusiasm.
Training your puppy will take no more than a few days, given that your intent is sincere and decisive. There is no need to at it for hours, since your dog is likely to lose interest and drop the activity all together. You should start off your puppy with basic instructions, like come, heel, and stay. As they grow bigger and smarter, you will be able to add more instructions as you deem necessary. When training your dog, you are spending quality time with him. This means, he will not only learn obedience and a few tricks, you will also be building a closer relationship with him.
Not training your dog can have an unwanted impact in your home. Results include dog stools all over the place, vandalized furniture, and shoes that look like dog food. Young pups can hardly tell what it is that you consider bad behavior, and need time and attention to be taught a few lessons.
There are a number of products available today that aim to help pet owners train their dog quicker and easier. Special, low calorie treats, dog collars, kennels, whistles are just some examples of what you can find at your local store. However, as always you are best advised to consult with your veterinarian on what’s best for your dog, before using any of these new gadgets on them. It is also recommended that you do not use any experimental items on your dog.

My friend is getting a lab puppy and needs videos on training. Who is the best of the best besides Cesar Millan. I really want to get him something soon so timly answers would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
Victoria Stillwell. OR whatever her name is.
You could search for her on http://www.animalplanet.com or http://www.youtube.com she shouldn’t be hard to find.
I think her training methods are much better than Cesar Millan’s primitive and outdated training methods.

puppy dog math

I need help really bad with a math problem.?
in a kennel, a cocker spaniel, a bulldog, and a grey hound all give birth to litters. The number of pups in the litter are consecutive integers (in the order:cocker spaniel, bulldog,greyhound.)The first integer increased by twice the second exceeds the third by 10. How many puppies does each dog have? use the five step method .
let C=# of cocker spaniels, B=# of bulldogs, G= # of grayhounds
since they are consecutive integers,
B=C+1
G=B+1
and from the problem,
C+2B=G+10
To solve this system of equations, we can make everything in terms of C using substitution.
C+2(C+1)=B+1+10
C+2(C+1)=C+1+1+10
C+2C+2=C+12
2C=10
C=5
Since they are consecutive numbers, C=5, B=6 and G=7.

Dog / child relationship?
A month ago my husband and I have our little boy in the world. When I was eight months together we have the rash decision to make such a good puppy. The puppy has been great so far and will have little or no effort. I was jealous worry if my son was, however, they all said, so that the puppy sniff the baby and everything seems to be OK. However, now keeps the puppy in the nursery and fits under my son's crib and growls who enters, including my husband and I. She has not bitten yet, but seems on Safeguards. Is this normal? Does it happen often, and if so how long will it take? Our puppy has son nothing less than my big one. When they do smell it all she always does, he is suffocating her with kisses.
Sounds to me that this is dog and child closer. It feels some need to protect him, maybe she is aware that a child's is vulnerable. Looks like you have found himself a good companion.
