Would anyone like an Australian Terrier?
I have an Australian terrier. He is a sweet dog, but to be honest, I can not quite potty train him. It could be that he marking territory, it could be behavioral training only. He is full breed, no papers. and we think he is a teeneager. He is very loyal to the alpha female (me). Would have a loving wife willing to work with him. We live in Las Vegas, NV. I would like to keep him if I train him could, but I have 5 children that I homeschool, I am a doula and very active in my religion. We were "potty trained" fooled by a dog from our neighbors, or we would have never met a dog that has not already formed.
If you dog fixed? – We have a small boy, is not fixed. He needs to highlight the world. It can be observed a little funny. He just can not help it self. I do not think he really knows what he's doing. This will slow down after it is fixed. We are pleased to find out. Loyal to their owners is part of being an Aussie – we have two of them. This is a great race! Every day they came love bring laughs, and the sun in our house. They are also one of the heaviest breeds. People do not just go and be an Aussie. It is a great thing to one of these Dog owners. You are not a dog that is outside all day alone, as they really need their people. When you let go of that dog, you probably not have the opportunity to get a new one. I suggest that you estimate have the gift, maybe hire a trainer. If you are not a dog person, and not the time, this is a different story. This breed is not for everyone. If you set hard to find him a loving home, then to the national to save Australian Terrier. I want to train police k9s…?
Hello,
So I am a certified dog trainer. I studied k9 psychology. My real passion is to work with police k9s. OR some type of work in the area. I have been to a police k9 training class which I learned a lot!! (i know I have A LOT to learn still)
Well I have talked with a lot of people about it and still feel lost.. I was told you have to become a police officer fore years get a dog then someday train them, and I have heard there are ways to just be a trainer and then I have been told you can do it as a sport..
I want to train them AND/OR work with them in some way..
I live in the east bay CA
Anyone have an idea on how I can get a job or were to look it get into this field?
You can start a business training police dogs as a private vendor, but, your finished product has to be something that agencies would want to buy…many years of work and training involved in that.
You can join a police Dept and apply for the K-9 Unit and then go through training under an idiot who has no idea what training a police dog involves.
You can join a dog sport club and learn THE best way to train dogs as you will understand drives, motivations, drive satisfaction, etc.
A sports dog trainer that has branched into the police dog field is the best qualified to train you in that area.
Please understand that there are VERY few civilians that are able to train dogs for the police, not because they don’t know how, but, because the police think they do.

Can I get my dog to Crufts?
Seeking to go in Crufts this year and I was hoping my dog with me, but I saw on the website that I do not a dog unless they are invited by the Kennel Club. My dog is kc registered but i dont have a real call, I say it can not be in the first place? even if I go with him, I would have to show documentation? Thanks
Registration is not an invitation to Crufts .. Sorry, no puppies is not allowed. are invited for a dog, I think it must be shown and has already.
