How to get involved in rescue and looking for a dog?
My husband and I have two purebred Labs (the times are almost 3 and 1), although no papers. My husband is a trained firefighter and is currently training to become EMT. We would like to join him or just in a search and rescue program may with one or both of our dogs. We are from Ohio (Toledo in the area) and just wondered if anyone have any leads.
He may want to get in touch with someone in the environment that it does not interfere. The Red Cross might know of someone, or his master or the fire chief. I'm sure if he know his bosses that He was interested to let, they would help him. Search and rescue dogs are a great help for each department.
