What kind of grass i can use for indoor potty training for a small dog ?

I need to know what kind of grass i need to use for indoor potty training for my 2 small dogs .I have seen something on tv but it cost lots of money /So if any one can help me with this that would be great ..I do take my dogs outside but i do work and i leave them sometimes inside my apartment to run around .
I do use training pads but they don’t always use it sometime they will pee and other stuff right next to the pad :/
