Advice on training puppy nipping and biting play?
I have a 10 week old Lab / Collie bitch. They quickly pick up on very specific things (Burglary has done wonders and crating, with her), but it does not seem to get on one of nipping training, I've tried. My girlfriend and I often play with her and took her for many short walks every day so I do not think it lack of attention or pent-up energy. I tried the "Make a loud noise such as "ouch" and stop playing with it for a few minutes' method, but if anything it seems to be worse. Should I continue with this method and eventually they will be outgrown? Or does anyone here have any advice on better methods?
A more try with the current method to remember Is that you would be the "ouch do" or "ow, ow, ow" sound in high need, which sounds as litter mate, if it hurt your puppy. This particular Method is most suitable pressure to reduce the bite, but not always at the end of the biting / nipping of games for each puppy. In addition, the method uses scruffing, together with the one you are now. This is done much the same way, momma dog, your puppy such as discipline, as she has with her litter. When puppy takes gently biting / nipping, you, but firmly grasp it from the collar of her neck (the neck), she lifts his feet off the ground, shaking slightly and a growl sounding tone, say "no relaxed bite. "As a puppy in your grip, it is a sign of submission, and you can then release puppies on the floor and try to correct the game again. If puppy persistent with the biting, the end of the season for about 15 minutes and try again. This is done, each time experiencing a bite or nip. NEVER allow only one or two to go unaddressed, or you will confuse dog, what you expect. Always remember that your hands are not the toy. Never encourage play biting the hand but always a proper toy puppy with play. It takes time to achieve, but with a combination of two methods worked well with our Border Collie (a Race notorious for nipping). These methods, both of which were recommended by our veterinarian and our obedience trainer and we found a combination to be very effective. I agree , there are no bad breeds, only bad owners. We have a BC, with small children, and had never been a big issue. It is with training your dog correctly and your children to do. People unable to get on the training of their dogs and children, and behave properly, when read together, just say, not for dogs to small children have. Shows a real lack of commitment to their part really.

Just The Basics – Dog Obedience Training Tutorial
One of the most exciting aspects of a dog or a dog to do the pet training commands follow. Sometimes overwhelming Owners their dogs by trying to teach too many different and complex commands to their dogs or puppies at the same time. Most dog breeds have a better Learning as one or perhaps two commands at a time, sir, but never all the commands at the same time.
It is important to research how your breed learns best. Some dogs learn through repetition and practice, or lots, while other breeds are learning very quickly and then get bored and disobedient when they are necessary to constantly repeat that already learned commands. Dogs to learn a command and then stop after the command appear after two or three repetitions in a kind of time covered in the later group. Each dog has its own personality as the race moves you have to also monitor and be aware of your dog or dog's personality.
Come
Probably the easiest command to teach for most puppies and dogs is the simple "come". Dogs naturally love human attention have actively and on time with their owner and family. As you can see the puppies direction you just say, "Come Fido" or what is the name of the dog forever. Fix The name to the command as the puppy will quickly learn their names and begin to listen to them. A treatment or only some praise and attention for coming on command are all that is needed.
Sit
One of the puppy will come on command, sit normally the next step. Hold a small treat, just above the nose when they are puppies. Slowly move the treat back in the air just above her head. The puppy will naturally follow your nose and head back Top of what the dog to sit down. As you begin to move your back and say "Sit Fido". When the pup sits give treat and praise. Repeat this is often not just when the puppy is, however, if they are next to you stands before the line at, or before you bring them a toy. Soon the puppy will learn that sitting a good thing, and they will get positives from the action.
Down
Teaching is at the bottom usually most easily from a sitting position. Once the puppy to Sit command, you simply call the puppies and they are sitting. Give them a joy to know and let them, you have a different treatment in the hand. As with the beginning of the sitting, saying: "Down Fido" and the treatment of push down against the floor and something from the body of the dog. The puppy will naturally follow with its nose. Slowly move the Treatment to the front until the puppy is susceptible. Immediately praise and reward with a treat.
If you want to include hand signals with these commands to start Just by the show of hands with the verbal command. Gradually, the verbal command said in a softer voice while continuing with the show of hands. Be sure that the signals are very clear and visible to the dog or dog. If the puppy does not respond to be sure that you have their attention to the visual cue. You may need to call the puppies name so that they understand that you are about to enter a command.

What do you think about “crate training” a dog?
I really have been wanting a dog lately. one of the dogs I found on spca said it was housebroken. Then a little further down the description it said it was crate trained. So she doesn’t pee in the house since she is locked up all day? I think its mean to lock a puppy up all day. What do y’all think.
Crate training is absolutely the biggest favor you will ever do for your dog.
Here is a WHY as well as HOW article about crate training.

Is it bad letting my 6 week old puppy out in the fron yard with just her first set of puppy shots?
I just bought a puppy, and is trying to train her to pee outside. I’ve been taking her to the front on a leash to do her business. Yesterday i went to the pet store to get a pricing on grooming, there they told me that she should have her other set of shots to be allowed in and she shouldnt even be on the ground where other dogs are capable of going due to parvo. Now I’m a little worried since i’ve been taking her to the front yard where other dogs ARE capable of going. Should i keep taking her to the front and not worry so much about it, or just use the pee pads inside?
What is bad is that someone would sell you a puppy that’s only 6 weeks old. No puppy should leave its mother until its 8 weeks old. Keep training her to pee outside. A puppy that young shouldn’t need professional grooming. Just keep her clean and brushed until she is bigger.

How should I housebreak my puppy?
I’m thinking about getting a pug puppy but training to potty train might be a problem. I’m home most of the time, but have to work two days a week. Those 2 days a week are 14 hour days. Should the dog be trained strictly using those pee pads, because crate training would probably be out of the question. Any suggestions?
14 hours for 2 days is way too long to leave a puppy.
You need to see if you can make arrangements for the pup to go to a sitter on those days.
Training them to go outside is best. Consistency is key, you have to take them out every hour or so to the same spot & give a command such as “go potty” when they go you give loads of praise. Puppies should also be taken out after naps, eating & playing.
Restrict his roam of the house to one or 2 rooms until he gets it & can be trusted.
Crates are wonderful to use when you are sleeping or have to run errands & the dog cannot go. You can’t leave a puppy loose in the house unattended, he/she will chew everything in sight including wires which could prove deadly.
