Dog training shock collar?

is a shock collar to sell pets mart OK, my dog with his train humaine says they work

Okay, I have patience Paws answer it with an electric collar around the neck of a child's address. DOGS are not children. Would you want a flat collar and a leash on a child and go the child in the neighborhood, you would a child in a box? Nothing bothers me more than to say something is cruel, because we would not do it to humans. Human Mothers also do not bite their children to correct them, dog mothers DO! Dogs are very different from us, we can speak street to children and reason with them not, you can sit a dog down and explain to them why they need to stay out. I do not believe in shocking a dog for every little thing, I do not believe in using a higher setting than is absolutely necessary, but I would use it on my dog, even if I never put it on a child. I would not spray to correct a child with water or shake a can of pennies. Does that sound aversion training is cruel, because you would not do it with children? The is comparing apples to oranges. I used a shock collar on me and on the lower levels there is a vibration that is far from painful. Dogs have very strong Neck and a stimulation of a shock collar is not painful if done correctly, it's just surprising to get their attention. It's no different than spraying your to teach dog with water or a loud sound, not to do something. Now, just strap a collar on a dog and shocking the shit out of it is cruel to the point of pain, but any training tool can be cruel like any training tool can be used humanely. It is the person using it, not the tool makes it cruel.

What is the best way to humanely () train a dog not to bark collar shock no?

Do you have a 4 year old Lab who loves bark. I would like to stop sooner than later this bad habit!

Citronella collars are totally human and twice as effective as shock collars … they deliver a mist of citronella scent of the dog in the face when they bark dogs … Citronella is, of course rejected, it does not take long for the dog to To associate that smell with their bark, she likes Sun … That is, if your dog is kept outside, it is very likely barking out of boredom, and begged for attention. It is important that dogs get daily play, practice and mental stimulation. Outside dogs are three times the work of the dogs inside because there is so much more difficult to offer address these needs, if your dog is not always. If your dog around the house, pay attention to what in advance of the bark … It is Traffic, the door bell, frustration? You can try to avoid the stimulus, or you can accept the status of dog to the stimulus than normal. There are many ways to go about it, are the easiest to identify the cause, and teach that the dog is not barking in response to the cause unacceptable. I have a firm footing in pose, show my finger and say, my dogs bark and act like I really expect the barking to stop. If you are firm and consistent, the dog will soon realize that you are not to allow the bark. The Citronella collar would I, if you save not be able to home, and allow it to "cover" for you in your absence.

How can my dog in agility training?

I thought I took a two-year-old Border Collie, and they want to keep active and happy so my sister, the vet has suggested an agility training. I will in a regular education class enrollment at petco but after that, I think, agility Training would be a lot of fun for the both of us. How do I get into this to get? Where can I find one of these courses? I'm really here in the dark lol

To find a trainer or club in your area, go to www.googility.com and check also your phone book entry, flyers to pet stores, and to ask. Check Also agilityevents.net and see if it can see any information upcoming events Go to one, or see on premium to see who hosts a past event and contact for. I recommend you go watch a class or two (and an event if possible) before registration, as there are a lot of of variability in the quality of teaching. I prefer to find a class that is not based on the work before dogs commented on the actual equipment, such as Marna, it is much more about the working conditions bond between you and the dog, than about the ability, over or through a piece of equipment. Browse around the googility cleanrun and web sites, including youtube-speedoggie cflyrun and both have some good videos posted (there are many other good vids of others, just can not remember it now!)

Dog training collars are not all equal

If you have a new dog owner or just to get your dog some extra training one of the first things you need to think about as a dog training collar. Back a few years ago there were not many options, but today there are many different types of training collars and, depending on the task at hand, you may have to buy a certain type or many.

All dog training collar, and not just be better suited in some of the way the training you need, unless your dog is created. Here is an overview of some of the different collars available and what they are best suited.

Martingale Collars are best described as a limited choke collar. These are similar to a choke collar, but they will not constrict smaller than the size of your dog around the neck, so not choke your dog. They have firmly enough so the dog can not wiggle out of them and are ideal for agility training. this type of collar is great if you do that you do not call extricate from dog, but also do not want to worry about your dog getting suffocated accidentally.

The head Collar looks kind of like a horse halter and goes to the dogs face with the leash attachment under the muzzle. Many people believe that this is for the catch but in reality do not you think of the dog bite but so that they lead him from the head. If your dog bites you read had to follow his body, and therefore you always have go to good control over your dog where you want them back. This type of collar can feel really strange dog might take a while to get used to it. Training with the head collar can be tricky because you do not want to, just to be around your dog like a pony, or he will lead him to rely on session and is not his own head!

The double collar strategy is good for dogs that are very strong and a muscular neck. This is a good collar to use if your dog is really wild and you have trouble controlling him. The collar has prongs from the bag into the dog's neck – not sharp teeth, but more like finger in the applied pressure helps the dog control. Some people feel that these collars are cruel (they look kind of mean, but are not as bad as they look), but they can give you an edge, to get enough training under your belt can be in a position to control your dog with a regular collar.

The choke chain is used to really popular callers and line control, but it is not too much today. This is essentially a ghost or achieve rank and if it tightens the chain on the dog to the throat. they are now in disgrace, than the type of training you receive through this type of chain is generally based on the punishment in today's way of thinking that positive reinforcement is much better way of training your dog. This can also be very dangerous if the chain is stuck your dog can literally choked to death. If you use the choke chain you need to ensure that you are with your dog at all times and change it somewhere and never leave a choke chain collar. the variation this, the limited choke collar, is made from a nylon and has the ring sewn into a piece of cloth that is not so far and could never move to choke your dog.

Electronic dog collars can be an effective training tool when used properly. Personally, I would not really my dog shock But many people report that this work very much and reduce the learning curve. The way the caller, the caller has been a recipient, add a small jolt of electricity can. The coach holds a remote control and your dog starts to undesirable behavior, you show a button on the remote (or turn a knob) and he gets a jolt. Finally, he learns as he shows the undesirable behavior, he will get an unpleasant shock, and therefore what keeps him from repeating this kind of behavior. The problem is that many people use this as a punishment if it is determined in fact to the attention just to the dog. Do not wait until your dog excessive barking, and then administration of punishment. To properly train your dog you must be alert and see if he had to bark about, and then give him the shock for him from the barking behavior in the first place distracted.

No bark collar to stop a dog from barking. They do this by measuring the vibration of the bark and then offer some form of deterrence. The chart can Be one of the three things that either shock, noise or puff of citrus spray. Once you dog Associates one of these unpleasant incidents, he barking think maybe twice before again barks back. While this may work to prevent your dog from barking, you can better find out why he's barking and trying to correct the behavior in this way will be served.

Select a dog training collar as a matter of personal preference and the needs of your dog. During training, always remember that there is more positive reinforcement than punishment, and in fact rarely punished Works. Be nice to your dog, be persistent and be patient and you will soon have a well-trained and obedient companions for life.
