   drench with *****OUST****** soak in OUST ((((great for air and urine stuff)))

   second, if you can’t find it. try BAKIN SODA and soak it (((good for white rugs, if you have a non-white rug…then it will leave a TEMP white mark.

   if you need CUT that rug and padding and REPLACE padding section and rug and glue glue glue (((adive/supervisor of carpenter or home depot, lowes, etc)))

   HOW too sites on line::: there’s one on the PUBLIC television a guy that KNOW how to do everything.

   call local CHEMIST of pharmacist….they know about ORGANIC (urine is organic right?) they will advice on how to break down that residue that is giving off them smell.

   my best experienc if not cutting the rug/ is OUST

   best friend next to my dog…is OUST with the companion of LYSON (((odorless, fragant free)))

   HOWEVER if ya dog BITES rugs…then choose a friendly animal agent. FEBREEZE doesn’t work.

   oh and temp and superfical stains ((((WINDEX is ya friend))) windex, is a natural or alternative rug cleaner too.

   windex came up with RESOLVE, best thing for carpets as well. that will take care of the surface. BUT chooose one and DON”T mix techniques. the FUMES or harsh remains is bad for ya dog, ya feet and you. mixing agents will produce bad bi-products that may give off fumes or irritate your nasal passageways and skin.

   call a chemist or a DOG rescue org.

   There are a lot of products out there, but very few are actually a long term solution. You need a product that will actually break down the enzymes in the urine, not just act as a deoderizer. After many, many tries with a great number of commercial and home remedies, I found that Nature’s Miracle was the only one that did the trick.
   Unfortunately, many times you still may have a smell after cleaning, meaning that your problem is not the carpet- the pee has gone through the carpet to the padding and subflooring underneath. This is not uncommon in the case of accidents involving large dogs, or any time the pee has had a chance to sit or soak in. That means no matter how much cleaning you do on the carpet, the smell is still there because the materials underneath have pee in them too. If you end up replacing the carpet, be sure to use Nature’s Miracle on the subflooring- I have had to do this and you can actually watch the stuff “erase” the pee stain off the subflooring, it is that good.

   P.S. Apartments are notorious for lingering pee smells, even the really nice ones (apartments, not pee). Don’t count on your own nose to tell you, watch your pet’s reaction, they have the better sniffer. No matter how clean the place is when you move in, and you know the carpet has been professionally cleaned, the pad or subfloor may not be.

   Get a black light – turn all of the lights off then shine the light onto the carpet. The places that have urine will kind of glow. Then you take this awesome stuff called Nature’s Miracle and pour it into that spot. Let it sit and dry on its own. Keep doing this until the spot doesn’t glow anymore.

   I’ve had pets for over 15 years and the only thing I’ve ever found that gets urine smell out is Carbona Pet Stain remover. I buy it at the grocery store in the rug cleaner section. It’s in a red bottle with a built in scrubber on it. I don’t know what they use that the rest of them don’t, but it works like a charm.

   You will never completely get rid of the smell of animal urine, especially if your pet is not spayed or neutered. However, this is what worked for me to get most of the smell out: heat the water for your carpet cleaner until it’s hot, not boiling, but hot. Pour in one scoop of Oxyclean, one measure of deep cleaning carpet cleanser and one measure of a pet odor removing solution. This would do one 9′ x 9′ room for me. While the carpet is still damp, spray it with Pet Odor Frebreeze. Allow the room to air dry, works even better if you can open the window to allow the sun to hit the carpet. Repeat several times, if necessary.
