How do I get my dog to stop peeing on everything in the house?

I have a male Bichon Frise who is 1 years old. He is potty trained, but once he starting lifting his leg, he will pee or mark his territory on anything and everything. Such as if there is a laundry basket full of clean clothes he will pee on it, any boxes or bags he will too. Pretty much anything. And he has ruined all of our carpet and lots of our stuff. How do I get him to stop doing this? I rarely see him do this because he knows he will be in trouble.
Oh and yes he is already neutered!

Try these:

1) Neuter him!!! He’s marking his territory, and that is your house and everything inside & around it.

2) Confine him to a crate, not as punishment, but as his very own “home”. No need for territorial marking. When you take him out of the crate, take him outside immediately.

3) There are calming aids. One is Comfort Zone for dogs. This might help.

4) You can get Male Doggie Wraps or Hot Pants which essentially “diaper” a dog & physically prevents them from damaging your home.
